Are you passionate about making a difference in international trauma care? We are an international not-for-profit organisation seeking a dynamic Business Support Manager to help drive our mission of reducing trauma-related mortality and morbidity through high-quality, multidisciplinary training.

About Us

The European Trauma Course Organisation (ETCO) delivers team-based trauma training in 24 countries, supporting healthcare professionals to provide better outcomes for major trauma patients. Governed by our elected Board and supported by a passionate team, we are committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering to the needs of the international trauma community.

About You

As our Business Support Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and the wider ETCO team to oversee course delivery, support faculty members, and ensure quality across our educational portfolio. You will lead on social media and communications, and will contribute to the organisation’s ongoing growth and development.

We are a small team so this is a hands-on, varied role which requires strong organisational skills, operational awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment. If you are committed to improving healthcare through education and would thrive in an international, mission-led organisation—this could be your perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Faculty Support: Act as the primary contact for faculty and course organisers, supporting smooth course planning and delivery.

  • Policy Implementation: Develop and deliver ETCO’s operational policies.

  • Quality Assurance: Audit courses, analyse feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Course Management System: Manage system access and functionality; liaise with our IT partners to resolve issues and enhance usability.

  • Operational Reporting: Create and share reports on course activity, quality metrics and trends, to inform operational and strategic decision making.

  • Communications: Manage internal and external communication platforms including newsletters and social media.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in operations, project management or business support within healthcare, education, or the not-for-profit sectors.

  • Strong administrative, organisational, and analytical skills.

  • Confidence using digital platforms, preferably with experience of course management systems or virtual learning environments.

  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and proactive approach.

  • Self motivated, problem solving approach to work , with the ability to work independently in a remote setting while still collaborating effectively with international teams.

  • A passion for global health and education.

Why Join ETCO?

  • Be part of a respected international organisation making a real-world impact.

  • Join a flexible, collaborative team that values your unique experience and contributions.

  • Engage with a diverse global community of professionals committed to improving trauma care.

  • Enjoy the opportunity to help shape the future of trauma training across continents.
